A grandmother's saga in her family's quest to raise cheerful chickens and chaste eggs; house honorable bees who respect their hive and harvest honey; garner great garden produce and bottle bounteous baskets of fruit, and most especially to sprout up and cultivate grandchildren of the highest quality and caliber....and also.... to make sure Grandpa grins!

The Hive
I feel like the "Queen of Quite a Lot". Our hive is busy, energetic, and noisy....all grandchildren at this time were 8 years and younger on Thanksgiving morning 2011 in the Orchard off of Locust Ave.
Well...not only are you the queen of busy bumbling bees...but the queen of wonderful words!!! I love everything about your blog...especially your titles and descriptions. I'm going to have to remember to find you a "bleach" scented air freshener for your birthday...We love you!!
I LOVE this family picture! I LOVE this family! What a cute blog Miss Elaine. :) I am a bit envious of your chickens and bees. One day I may have to get some advice from you when we are ready. Great to see your life is so well.
